TMF believes in empowering youth athletes by providing the necessary equipment, facilities, and overall opportunity to youth sports programs. Following Hurricane Michael which devastated Panama City we immediately began raising money for youth programs so we could get a head start on funding while we found the best home for the funds. We are proud to announce, we have found that home.
For our first project, we are donating 100% of the funds raised from now through March 1st 2019 to Bay High School’s Athletic Department in Panama City, Florida. Hurricane Michael left Panama City in shambles and Bay High School’s Baseball Field was no exception. Bay High School is the same school that provided Kevin Husum a field to develop his skills which eventually transferred to Gulf Coast Community College, and then James Madison University. The field is currently unplayable and according to their head coach- Bay High School is in jeopardy of cancelling their upcoming season. If this news comes to fruition, it would be another blow to the spirit of Bay High School Athletes and the many other youth sports programs that utilize their facilities. The delays in relief in Panama City, insurance issues, and the storms destruction of the field are not going to stop TMF from keeping the season from happening, with your help.
We have set a monetary goal of $2500 which will be utilized for the repair of the field including; the dugouts, fences and overall field maintenance. We are challenging our network to donate to this cause to restore hope where so much has already been lost. We hope the relentless spirit of TMF can be contagious and leave an impact on the school and young athletes for years to come.
